Sony VGF-CP1 – an amazing digital photo frame with Wi-Fi




The Japanese unit of Sony has provided new multi-functional digital photo frame VGF-CP1.

This device is equipped with a 7 ” screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and can display up to 16 million colours and has 512 MB of built-in memory. If this is not enough – the device is equipped with card reader to work with memory card formats, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo, SD/SDHC and CompactFlash.

VGF-CP1 “can” play songs in MP3 and WAV formats and, of course, display photos. Supported formats: JPEG, Progressive JPEG, BMP, PNG, Interlaced PNG and GIF.

But with video bad case – it is not supported by VGF-CP1. But built-in support for Wi-Fi allows you to connect wirelessly to a computer, receive photos from the disk; news from the Yahoo News, information from RSS-tapes, as well as download images from online albums like Google Picasa.

Sony VGF-CP1 comes in two colors: black (model VGF-CP1/B) and white (VGF-CP1/W). It has dimensions of 177 × 103 mm × 131, with 530 grams of weight.
