Samsung SDI have a prototype of the laptop with 12-inch AMOLED-display

On Korean website of company Samsung SDI has recently appeared an Information about conceptual development in the area of mobile computers, which found the use of several interesting ideas.

AMOLED

The laptop, shown in illustration, differs by very compact size. This has been achieved through the use of the touch keyboard and the display produced by AMOLED technology. The laptop screen size is 12.1 inches (30.7 cm) and a resolution 1280 x 768 pixels and is characterized by high contrast and brightness. For these parameters AMOLED displays surpasses the usual LCD displays.

Serial production of laptops with AMOLED-displays the company plans to begin next year.
