New SSD Mtron PRO 7500 set read/write speed records

A relatively young market of solid drives (SSD) involves frequent achieve by producers. Some focused on achieving maximum capacity, others attracted by the relatively low cost, Mtron also decided to fight for the palm Championship in the category most high-speed devices.

New series SSD PRO 7500, focused on industrial applications (although SATA interface allows the user to use it in PC), provides a consistent reading speed – 130 Mb/s (which we have seen in the performance of Japan’s Green House), and a record recording speed – 120 MB/sec.

For real application also important another indicator, the number of random input/output per second. At PRO 7500, it equals 19000, which, according to the manufacturer, in 65 times greater than that of industrialized SAS HDD.

Mtron will produce this series of drives in 2.5 and 3.5 inches form factors. Capacity of devices at the current stage will be from 32 to 128 GB
