Inno3D i-Chill GeForce 9800 GTX: cooling system with 3 fans and high frequencies
The close partnership of companies Inno3D and Arctic Cooling once again found their confirmation in a new graphic accelerator i-Chill GeForce 9800 GTX Accelero Extreme. Its near-record frequency provided, primarily by using three-fan Cooler Accelero Extreme, the official announcement of which was held simultaneously with the release of Inno3D product.
Accelerator operates at a frequency of 740 MHz for the core (at 65 MHz reference above) and 2280 MHz for the memory (+80 MHz).
The cooling system includes a radiator with 107 ribs, five heat pipes and 3 fans with speed PWM-control. Compared with standart cooler this solution should provide for 20 ° C lower
temperature.
